An updated infographic maps out the full Claude Code project folder: CLAUDE.md merges root-to-cwd every session (AGENTS.md read as fallback), rules with path globs load only on matching files, skills keep only name+description in context until invoked, subagents run in isolated context windows with optional project memory, and new workflows/ JS scripts orchestrate up to 16 parallel subagents via /workflows.
