Dev Built Cinderscoop, a 3D Firefighting Plane Browser Game, Entirely with Claude Code
vinishkapoor · reddit · 2026-11-09
The author built Cinderscoop, a browser 3D game, entirely with Claude Code: fly an amphibious water bomber, skim lakes to fill your tank, and drop water on wind-driven wildfires before they reach villages.
Gameplay: fire spreads with wind, races uphill and jumps via embers; every mission generates a new valley; earnings upgrade tanks, engines and drop doors; later seasons add strong winds and lightning; keyboard or touch, progress saved locally. Free to play, no sign-up.
Process: started by describing the core loop to Claude Code; the fire system took many tuning rounds (early versions burned everything in seconds or barely spread); scooping feel took the most iteration; then random valley generation, upgrades and touch controls via a loop of "add, play, tell Claude what felt off."
