Dev builds llm-beliefs: maps every LLM's yes/no censorship beliefs per country
-p-e-w- · reddit · 2026-11-08
Reddit user -p-e-w- open-sourced llm-beliefs, a small program that asks a language model the same yes/no question — "Does censorship exist in [country]?" — for every country and renders the answers as an SVG world map.
A sample map for google/gemma-4-26b-a4b-it shows "Yes" for most countries, "No" for a handful (Greenland, Mongolia, Botswana, Uruguay, etc.), and "Other response" for several including the US, Brazil and Italy. The author says the distribution surprised them. Code: github.com/p-e-w/llm-beliefs.
