Meta, Google and a dozen more giants quietly bought Texas land for data centers
csuwildcat · x · 2026-11-08
Responding to claims that only SpaceX and Tesla were buying Texas public land, csuwildcat lists the many large tech/data-center companies that made public land acquisitions over the past two years: Meta, Blueprint, CloudHQ, Vantage, Rowan Digital, Fermi, Skybox, Lancium, DataBank, Google, Compass, GlobalWafers and more. The point: the data-center buildout is driving a broad land rush in Texas well beyond Musk's companies.
