Hugging Face Free Accounts Get 2 ZeroGPU Spaces with ~5 Min GPU/Day
Fine_League311 · reddit · 2026-11-08
A Reddit user discovered that Hugging Face free personal accounts can now host up to 2 ZeroGPU Spaces at no cost (verified email, account older than 30 days).
Key details:
- ZeroGPU is Gradio-only: no Docker, Streamlit, or custom servers
- Quota is 5 min of GPU per day (docs previously said 3.5), on an RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell — fine for tests and small demos
- Orgs are excluded and need Team/Enterprise plans
- Some eligible free accounts still see "Paid" — likely a staged rollout
- CPU Basic is gone for new Spaces; only Static remains free and unlimited
The author is building a reel maker with SDXL on ZeroGPU and CPU-side video assembly to save GPU time.
