ComfyUI Readable Node: an agent skill that rebuilds messy workflows into readable ones
nomadoor · reddit · 2026-11-08
ComfyUI tutorial site author nomadoor released an open-source agent skill, Readable Node, that takes a messy workflow JSON, fully disassembles it, and rebuilds it from scratch following six readability rules (no hidden nodes, no hidden wires, left-to-right flow, one task per workflow, minimal custom nodes, functional coloring), plus a report page replaying the rebuild. It's slow (10 min for 25 nodes, 20–40 for large ones) and works best with Claude Opus 5.5. He also argues node graphs remain the ideal human-AI collaboration surface as long as workflows stay readable.
