CWTFIGO: Open-Source Claude Code Plugin That Remembers Every Machine You Fix
AccountlKiller · reddit · 2026-11-08
A Reddit user open-sourced CWTFIGO, a Claude Code plugin that turns Claude into a family/team IT operator, MIT-licensed, for Mac and Linux.
Key features
- Remembers every machine: each device gets a folder under /.cwtfigo with hardware, OS, past fixes, and parked issues
- One control machine manages all devices over SSH (Linux, macOS, Windows, Steam Deck, BusyBox routers) with nothing installed on targets
- Scripts require one-time approval with hash checks; machine-changing actions dry-run first, risky ones need a typed yes
- Knows when to stop: dead hardware gets parked and re-checked upstream; conclusions come with command output as evidence
How it was built: almost entirely with Claude Code—a lead session handing fixes to workers in git worktrees, one finding per commit with tests; five parallel Claude agents reviewed everything pre-launch and found two security bugs the author missed; dogfooded on the author's Mac, Arch laptop, Windows PC, and router.
Install via /plugin marketplace add DozenTwelve/CWTFIGO then /plugin install cwtfigo@cwtfigo.
