DeepSeek Harness adds experimental Git Worktree support for parallel coding agents
sven_ai · x · 2026-11-08
deepseek-harness, DeepSeek's open-source agent framework (276k GitHub stars, MIT, "Everything is a Plugin"), has added experimental Git Worktree support targeting the biggest pain point in multi-agent coding: multiple agents editing the same files simultaneously.
With the new support, different tasks can run in isolated Git worktrees, with PR diff viewing and review-status tracking. Author fkasummer argues that solving agent collision is a prerequisite for real parallel development — and matters more than simply adding more agents.
