Plugin brings Claude Code's double-Escape message history to opencode, no fork needed
BalloonWheelie · reddit · 2026-11-08
A new plugin, opencode-double-esc-timeline, adds Claude Code's double-Escape message-history gesture to opencode without forking.
- Strictly additive: it listens on opencode's raw key stream; a single Escape still interrupts a running turn, and only a second press within 800 ms opens the Timeline dialog.
- No fork, no patch: it dispatches opencode's own session.timeline, so the dialog and Revert/Copy stay upstream's.
- Install: add { "plugins": ["opencode-double-esc-timeline"] } to cli.json (TUI-only config, not opencode.json); the plugin is just two files.
- Known caveat: double-Escaping to interrupt a running turn also opens the Timeline; dismiss with one more Escape.
