RocketGPU: CUDA-accelerated bit-accurate Rocket League physics simulator goes open source
thecosmicskye · reddit · 2026-11-08
Developer thecosmicskye open-sourced RocketGPU, a CUDA-accelerated Rocket League physics simulator claiming 100% accuracy — meaning bit-accurate parity with the game's native physics, at higher speeds.
Beyond being a fun engineering feat, bit-accurate and fast game physics simulation is directly useful as a reinforcement learning environment for training agents, avoiding the overhead of driving the actual game engine frame by frame. The project is available on GitHub.
