Fal, a San Francisco startup hosting and running AI video, image, and audio models, raised a $1.3B Series F led by Bessemer Venture Partners with Nvidia, Sound Ventures, and T. Rowe Price participating, valuing it at $16B — double its April valuation. Combined with the earlier Sequoia-led Series E, the two rounds total $1.65B. Annualized revenue surpassed $800M earlier this year, driven by surging demand for open-source model inference; rivals like Baseten, Fireworks AI, and Modal are also growing fast.
