DeepSeek Harness Hands-On: Better Out of the Box Than pi, Agent Teams Plugin a Must
teortaxesTex · x · 2026-11-08
hxiao shared first impressions after several days with DeepSeek Harness (dsh), compared to pi and Claude Code: a clean dsh install outperforms a clean pi install thanks to many built-in plugins enabled by default, and the "agent teams" plugin (off by default) is a must-have — similar to cc's ultra mode and missing from pi. The author calls dsh an IDE or even an OS, customizable via creator mode into a productivity/entertainment/management superapp.
teortaxesTex quipped that "the Chinese can't help but build superapps," though he still reaches for pi for quick CLI-heavy tasks.
