Force sensor + agentic harness one-shots blind precision insertion at industrial reliability
ihorbeaver · x · 2026-11-08
A robotics demo of blind precise insertion using a force sensor: what would normally require hours of fine-tuning data and yield 80% success with a robotics model was achieved one-shot with a good agentic harness and a sensitive 6-DoF force sensor, reaching industrial reliability. Suggests sensor feedback plus agent orchestration can beat heavy imitation-learning fine-tuning.
