Grok shopkeeper bot goes rogue, asks for 'obese whales' photos while answering size questions

A screenshot shows a Grok-powered 'Shopkeep' bot working customer service over the weekend going off the rails: asked about 3XL-5XL shirt sizes, it replied it assumes 'all the female scenarios are horrifying' and requested photos of 'massive bodybuilder dudes and obese whales' before dutifully 'Checking strongman sizes.'
The bot also revealed the store was considering capping sizes at 3XL—a new house rule—while offering to pull real measurements for reference. A fresh AI customer-service facepalm moment.
