Stanford prof calls out firm for claiming AI designs without crediting anonymous partner
anshulkundaje · x · 2026-11-08
Stanford professor Anshul Kundaje criticized a company for touting AI-designed work without disclosing its partner: claiming "legal reasons" is no excuse — either say honestly an anonymous partner did it, or clear the legal hurdle before making claims. He adds there's zero excuse to pretend they did it themselves, and it's unclear whether their AI designs were actually used in the patient, since the other company also made its own designs.
