Engineer tracked 100k careers over 10 years to rank universities PageRank-style

@deedydas proposes a 'pure' university ranking method: he traced the career paths of 100,000 engineers over 10 years and ranked schools PageRank-style — a university scores high when its graduates work at companies that engineers compete hardest to join. Stanford, MIT and Harvard topped the list, with a surprising gap over the rest; Brown came in at #6 and Waterloo ranked highly. Replying to the thread, peterjliu agrees with the approach but questions Laurier being ranked the 2nd best Canadian university, noting all university rankings are deeply flawed.
