At Ron Baron's investor conference in New York, 83-year-old Baron asked Elon Musk how he wants people to think about him, noting nobody works that hard just for money. Musk paused and said he'd like the reality to be that he "made a significant contribution in the furtherance of civilization." He then referenced the famous "Jose" meme — one man digging a hole while eight others watch — tweeting "I want to be Jose."
