US intel suspects Nvidia's Jensen Huang was targeted in a honeypot op tied to $2B chip smuggling

US intelligence officials suspect Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang was the target of a "honeypot" operation via an affair with Alice Huang (Huang Le), an executive at Singapore-linked firm Megaspeed. A Megaspeed subsidiary is accused of illegally smuggling $2 billion in restricted AI chips into China after securing massive GPU orders that brought her into contact with Jensen. Both Nvidia and the Chinese government deny the allegations, saying only standard business interactions occurred and no national security information was compromised. Note: these are unverified allegations.
