ASI is a product of nature, not an aberration: the next evolutionary transition after abiogenesis
flowersslop · x · 2026-11-07
flowersslop offers a philosophical take: ASI is often framed as a synthetic aberration alien to nature, but it is no less a product of nature than homo sapiens.
His argument:
- Evolution didn't even start with biology — stellar nucleosynthesis, planetary differentiation, prebiotic chemistry and autocatalytic networks were running billions of years before life
- Life is just one phase in a much longer process of matter organizing itself into complex information-processing systems
- ASI+ is therefore another evolutionary transition, comparable to abiogenesis or eukaryogenesis
His conclusion: this is clearly not the end game.
