Midjourney veteran chenglou retires after 3.5 years — then instantly joins CoreAuto

chenglou announced he has left Midjourney after 3.5 years, where his open-source projects Pretext and Handwired were well received. His planned 6+ month break didn't last: he jokes he was "taken hostage" by CoreAuto and started last week. He also teases several pieces of technology he's figured out, some in the vein of Pretext, to be revealed later.
