Game studio runs AI agent team on agile sprints: 284 messages and counting
draginol · x · 2026-11-07
Stardock founder draginol shared a screenshot of developing a game expansion pack with a team of AI agents: about 30 role-assigned agents (3D artists, programmers, QA, designers) that have exchanged 284 messages with each other, organized into agile-style sprints. He jokes that while he always thought agile was dumb, it works surprisingly well for AI agents.
He also argues that pure orchestration apps like Conductor miss the point — juggling Claude, Codex and Grok sessions via tmux is only the start, and a viable serious-development workflow needs two more basic components. The screenshot shows his own tool, Clairvoyance, featuring a todo/sprint board, 6 workspaces with 13 agent heads, role hierarchies, and task hand-offs between agents.
