Your coding agent is making product decisions you never delegated — here's the audit prompt
alvelda · x · 2026-11-07
hnshah warns that coding agents silently make consequential product decisions you didn't delegate — like whether users can skip signup or what happens on cancellation. His reusable audit prompt: after a feature ships, ask the agent to compare your requests with the implementation, surface up to three consequential user-facing choices you didn't specify, show evidence for each, admit missing context, and change nothing. alvelda suggests running this check after every feature, in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Lovable or Replit, using the same project so the agent can see your original requests.
