Uncle Bob says deep language expertise is now a waste, but can junior devs copy that?

- Uncle Bob Martin, once a C++ "language lawyer" who studied the ARM inside out, now says deep mastery of a programming language is a "supreme waste of time and effort." He won't learn Rust, Golang, or TypeScript — his AI agents handle that — and he only needs the high-level gestalt of a system, interrogating agents when he needs cog-level detail.
- bendee983 pushes back: that confidence likely rests on decades of writing, reviewing, and refactoring code. Properly interrogating agents requires solid understanding of underlying mechanics. The open question is how much of this formula transfers to new coders without that experience.
