AMD's Anush Elangovan confirmed the AMD AI Developer Program and invited developers over in response to a "maybe we should buy AMD GPUs instead" quip.
The free program targets developers building AI on AMD hardware and includes:
- Free cloud credits (Instinct Developer Cloud, Token Lab, one-click notebooks)
- ROCm certification and AI Academy training
- Expert support, AI Playbooks, and community events
It reads as a clear signal of AMD courting AI developers away from the incumbents.
