Follow-up link to the bioRxiv paper "Cross-family learning transfers thermal adaptation between enzymes" by Sandra Viknander, Nikolaos Tatarakis et al. (corresponding author Aleksej Zelezniak, Chalmers University of Technology). The model stabilizes enzymes by up to +37°C without paired mesophilic/thermophilic examples, trained on tens of millions of metagenomic and UniProt sequences across 4,471 EggNOG COG families.
