Friday Checks fact-checks the week in AI: GPT-6 Cyber real, China ban is a draft
eyishazyer · x · 2026-11-07
@eyishazyer's Friday Checks series verifies this week's viral AI claims (items 9–11):
- "AI agents barely order on DoorDash": ✅ true — confirmed by DoorDash's CEO
- "Claude won't build games anymore": ❌ false — just not remakes, not a blanket ban
- "Anthropic is about to hit RSI": ⚠️ misleading — not today's models
Earlier in the thread: GPT-6 Cyber is real but vetted security pros only; Kimi K3.1 Pro weights are on Hugging Face at 2.8T params (true); "China banned AI exports" is misleading — a draft open until Nov 15; "Astra sabotaged safety work" is misleading — it did less, cause unsettled.
