Capabilities are n+1 dimensional: the last dimension is 'coordination'
soumitrashukla9 · x · 2026-11-07
Andrew Koh proposes a framework: capabilities are n+1 dimensional — the first n dimensions are domain competence (math, writing, coding, etc., cf. Legg & Hutter), and the final dimension is coordination: the ability to work well with others. Every agent, human or AI, has its own capability profile, so evaluating an agent shouldn't rely on single-domain strength alone.
