levelsio: AI-written replies are a negative-sum strategy squeezing out real humans on X
Kyrannio · x · 2026-11-07
Indie developer levelsio (@levelsio) called out AI-generated replies on X as a net negative for everyone: they crowd out people who genuinely engage, all for a growth strategy that doesn't work anyway — 'if you're doing AI replies, you're an asshole.'
Quoted user robj3d3 argues the only real fix is a 'neighbourhood watch for slop': AI reply users attract bot engagement and repel interesting real humans, and at best it's simply rude.
