Jura Bio argues biology, not silicon, is the substrate of machine intelligence
LesterMackey · x · 2026-11-06
Jura Bio argues the physical world is exponentially more scalable than in silico methods, so they "compute in chemistry" — the natural substrate of biological machine intelligence was never silicon. A companion point: verification is expensive because it's bounded by physical assays; whoever scales beyond the physical world without sacrificing fidelity will change the world.
