Hugging Face co-launches RoboColosseum: open evals on 100+ real robots
DJiafei · x · 2026-11-06
Hugging Face, BitRobot Network and partners launch RoboColosseum, an open robot evaluation initiative testing systems on 100+ real robots (Unitree G1, LeRobot SO-101, YAM, Franka, frodobots) across 140+ in-the-wild scenes, with 10,000 free eval hours. All rollout data, including failures, is published on Hugging Face Hub. Two tracks: blind zero-shot open-world tests and fine-tuning on fixed open datasets; rankings varied by task and robot across 20,000+ runs. The project aims to close the sim-to-real evaluation gap and give small robotics teams access to shared evaluation data.
