OpsBridge: a workbench for investigating blocked invoices with versioned evidence and human approval
Fit_Fortune953 · reddit · 2026-11-06
A developer built OpsBridge to investigate invoice disputes (invoice says 20 chairs, receiving shows 18, supplier email claims all arrived): it gathers invoices, POs, receipts and messages; a rules engine handles matching and picks the next action; an optional model only explains findings and drafts follow-ups; a separate approver reviews the exact text, destination and version before execution.
Hard-won failure handling includes versioned evidence, approval checks, recovery for uncertain writes, offline replay, and signed EvalSeal receipts — covering cases like evidence changing after approval, task-creation timeouts, partially unreadable documents, and post-hoc audit of passing evals.
Two synthetic purchasing packs (furniture, IT hardware) were tested: a 40-case held-out run reached the correct next action on 36 cases in both rules-only and mocked agent-assisted modes — validating the workflow, not real-model benefit. Status: local app and hosted CI only; no real pilot, cloud deployment, or live-model validation yet.
