Agents now run email and Slack for one team: a post-literacy workflow in practice
curious_vii · x · 2026-11-06
The author's team is handing async comms to agents: Slack agent threads take on long-horizon tasks (e.g. client laptop tooling setup that never deserved live time), external email runs through an @agentmail inbox with the human principal cc'd for clear authorship, and exceptions go to recorded Huddles or real calls. Fireflies' live connector remains essential for high-context sessions. On content: a recurring bot job auto-clips long-form streams/Spaces into short videos for top-of-funnel, and even heavy product development is done by recording a long monologue piped into a remote-control session with tokens cranked up — barely any desktop time. The author calls this the new normal, while admitting a middle ground may be needed as context changes.
