Google is investing $17B in its first Wyoming data center near Cheyenne, featuring a 702MW natural gas fuel cell system from Bloom Energy — the largest of its kind Google has planned. The campus will be air-cooled to limit water use, with gas generation from Tallgrass and Black Hills and carbon capture under study.
