KAIST's DreamFree distills video diffusion representations for real-time robot control
kaist-ai · hf · 2026-11-06
KAIST proposes DreamFree, an imagination-free world action model. Instead of running costly iterative video-diffusion denoising to predict future frames, DreamFree repurposes a pretrained video diffusion model as a predictive visual encoder via future representation distillation, exploiting its predictive priors without generating videos. This enables real-time robot action prediction, improves control, and enhances learning from video demonstrations.
