NPCBench: a clinical apprenticeship benchmark for longitudinal multimodal cancer care reasoning
InfiX-ai · hf · 2026-11-06
A team from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, Monash and others introduces NPCBench, a clinical apprenticeship benchmark for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Existing medical benchmarks break clinical competence into isolated factual questions or static case vignettes; NPCBench instead tests whether models can integrate subspecialty knowledge with multimodal evidence and maintain temporally coherent diagnostic and care decisions across longitudinal patient pathways, mirroring specialist training from guideline knowledge to case planning and longitudinal follow-up. Code and data are open-sourced on GitHub and Hugging Face.
