Q-CTRL launches Dynamics Simulator Qiskit Function on IBM Quantum
MJBiercuk · x · 2026-11-06
Q-CTRL released Dynamics Simulator, a new Qiskit Function live on IBM Quantum, letting users run utility-scale materials-science quantum dynamics simulations in a single function call, with circuit design, hardware mapping, and error suppression fully automated. Q-CTRL previously showed its stack running such simulations up to 3,000x faster than classical tools, and the benchmark now runs 12x faster on IBM's Nighthawk processor. Roughly one-third of global supercomputer time goes to chemistry/materials simulation.
