Gary Marcus shared and mocked an OSS Capital (Joseph Jacks) forecast chart claiming Anthropic's revenue will grow from $9B ARR (2025) to $2T by 2030, crossing Alphabet's $750B in mid-2028 — presented as "just a continuation of the curve," not a bull case.
Marcus called it possibly "the most flawed projection in history," pointing out the wildly distorted y-axis (a nonlinear scale jumping from $1B to $2.5T) that visually manufactures a crossover between curves of entirely different magnitudes.
