Apple Vision Pro Positano scene hits 65fps on M2 with boats, yachts and 40 seagulls
Scobleizer · x · 2026-11-06
Developer Dexter Talbert shared progress on the Positano, Italy environment for Apple Vision Pro: the scene now features boats and yachts on the water, roughly 40 flying seagulls, reworked water physics and sand, plus a new dock, with the city area still under construction.
Technically, it runs at about 65fps at maximum resolution and around 85fps with adaptive resolution, using 4X multisample AA — all powered by the Vision Pro's M2 chip. Robert Scoble amplified the update while heading to a Silicon Valley startup event.
