Thinking Machines launched Inkling 2 Small, scoring 31 on the AA Intelligence Index — a big jump over its predecessor. Engineer cHHillee notes their improved infra let pretraining finish in under 3 days. The model is live on Tinker for fine-tuning and inference ($0.30/$1.00/$1.50 for in/out/train), with full weight release planned soon.
