NitroFusion2 quantized to int8/W4A8 for ComfyUI: 3.5GB min, ~1.7x faster than bf16
LatentSpacer · reddit · 2026-11-06
Reddit user LatentSpacer converted NitroFusion2 — this week's 1–2 step distillation of Z-Image-Turbo by Dar-Yen Chen and Yi-Zhe Song, built for sharp text and detail in a single step — into ComfyUI's native quantized formats, so it runs in stock ComfyUI with no custom nodes.
- int8: 6.18 GB, 0.29s per sampling step at 1024² on a 4090 (bf16: 0.50s), practically identical to bf16
- W6A8: 5.02 GB, 0.30s
- W4A8: 3.49 GB, 0.29s; small details shift but composition, faces and text hold up (side-by-sides on the model card)
The repo ships official 1-step and 2-step workflows, and the publisher's 2-step de-distillation LoRA works with all three. Text encoder and VAE are from Z-Image-Turbo. Weights are open on Hugging Face (PedroMarinhoDev/NitroFusion2-ComfyUI).
