Researchers from the Computer Vision Center (CVC) and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona presented 'Albedo Estimation via Latent Bridge Matching' at the Color and Imaging Conference (CIC 2026). Albedo — a scene's intrinsic color independent of lighting — is useful for color correction, inverse rendering and precise image editing. The work, led by Carme Corbí with Javier Vazquez-Corral and Maria Vanrell, has paper, code and weights publicly available.
