Compound Security: open-source skill for agent-driven vulnerability patching
hamostaf04 · x · 2026-11-06
An open-source skill called Compound Security lets coding agents find vulnerabilities, patch them, and verify the app still works. The workflow: Help to figure out where to start, Brainstorm to prioritize, Patch to plan/fix/verify, and LFG to run the full pipeline.
The accompanying quote tweet argues frontier LLMs are currently "exposing vulnerabilities" rather than "defending customers" — real defense means no false positives, comprehensive coverage, and cost efficiency via sensors, inline inspection and enforcement. The author criticizes labs for touting attack-chain capabilities and synthetic attack data while pushing costs onto enterprises.
