Alchemy teases next-week release: Rivet and Effect Cluster as swappable deploy layers
samgoodwin89 · x · 2026-11-06
Developer samgoodwin89 previews next week's Alchemy release, bundling Rivet, Effect Cluster, Archil, Daytona, Modal, and E2B.
Rivet and Effect Cluster ship as swappable Layers deployable anywhere. The screenshots show the pattern: a control plane is a per-host Layer where implementations across Docker, AWS (EC2/ECS), GCP, Kubernetes, Fly, Hetzner, and more all return the same Rivet.Cluster interface, while pools decide where nodes run—so switching deployment targets only means swapping the ControlPlane/Pool constructor.
