OpenAI has introduced GPT-6 Cyber, an AI model built to find security vulnerabilities, develop exploits, and suggest patches.
Key claims from OpenAI:
- 81 previously unknown vulnerabilities discovered in Firefox
- 948 working exploits developed in the Linux kernel — significantly more than its predecessor
The model works both sides of security: it can break into systems and also propose how to fix them.
