RoboColosseum launches: 100+ real robots, 140+ scenes, 20k evals, all rollouts open
DJiafei · x · 2026-11-06
RoboColosseum officially launched as an open robot eval initiative by Hugging Face, BitRobot Network and partners.
- 100+ real robots: Unitree G1 humanoids, LeRobot SO-101s, YAMs, Franka arms and more
- 140+ in-the-wild scenes, 20,000+ evals run, with every rollout (failures included) published openly
- 10,000 free eval hours offered
- On the Unitree G1, average task progress was just 13%–23%; no fine-tuned model finished a single G1 task
Commentators note that publishing failure data mirrors failure-log requirements in medical device auditing — a key step toward credible real-robot evaluation.
