OpenAI rolls out Target CPA and Target CPC bidding in ChatGPT Ads on Nov 9
gaganghotra_ · x · 2026-11-06
OpenAI has emailed ChatGPT Ads advertisers about bidding changes taking effect Monday, November 9:
- Conversion campaigns get Target CPA, replacing Max Bid for new campaigns. Advertisers set an average amount they'd like to pay per conversion (e.g., purchase or lead), and the system adjusts bids and delivery toward that target. Existing Max Bid campaigns keep serving but can be switched.
- Click campaigns get Target CPC, replacing Max CPC for new click campaigns.
