Anirudha Majumdar, Princeton professor and Google DeepMind research scientist, is uploading his full Introduction to Robotics course to YouTube this fall; the previous run's 24 lectures (29 hours) are already free, covering motion planning/RRTs, quadrotor dynamics, PD control/LQR, Kalman and particle filters, SLAM, and deep RL for robots. Homework includes flying a real Crazyflie drone, with a final project training camera-based navigation via imitation learning — the same idea behind robot brains like π0. Fall 2026 lectures drop weekly (11 out, lecture 1 at 84K views). The quoted article also breaks down how π0, NVIDIA GR00T and Tesla Optimus think — two of the three built almost identically — with Physical Intelligence reportedly raising at $20B.
