Mola: A Sequence-to-Distribution Model Predicting Single-Molecule Chromatin States
anshulkundaje · x · 2026-11-06
Stanford's Kundaje lab (led by first author jimwry) released Mola, a sequence-to-distribution (S2d) model for single-molecule regulatory genomics. Since gene regulation operates at the single-molecule level, Mola predicts single-molecule chromatin-state distributions across 10 kb directly from DNA sequence, offering a new tool for deciphering the regulatory code.
