GPT-6 Cyber reportedly found 81 unknown high-severity Firefox bugs; Mozilla shipped fixes
krizzalicious49 · reddit · 2026-11-06
A screenshot of official documentation claims OpenAI's GPT-6 Cyber is already securing real systems: researchers used it to develop 948 privilege escalation exploits in Linux and uncover 81 previously unknown high-severity Firefox vulnerabilities, despite extensive prior testing with frontier models. The model also produced candidate patches, and Mozilla has released fixes for many of the issues.
Security teams at Cisco, Calif, and CodeRabbit are using it for vulnerability research and code review, and OpenAI says it relies on it to find and fix weaknesses in its own infrastructure.
