Anthropic Launches Personal Finance in Claude, Rolling Out in US Beta
claudeai · x · 2026-11-06
Anthropic announced Personal Finance in Claude, now in beta in the US for Pro, Max, and Ultra subscribers.
- Users can connect bank and card accounts and ask questions in plain language like "Where did my money go this month?" Claude aggregates spending across accounts, breaks it down by category, and flags anomalies such as duplicate charges, unexpected fees, or bills creeping up over the year.
- Access is strictly read-only: Claude can't move, manage, or invest money, offers no investment advice, sells no financial products, and shows no ads or sponsored recommendations.
- In Anthropic's example, Claude tallies $4,309.37 in monthly spending, warns about four upcoming payments before payday, and computes $1,393.22 remaining.
